590: (40/360) Daisy

“Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I’m half crazy….”:

There were fewer chilling cinematic moments than the last conscious moments of HAL, the conflicted computer in Kubrick’s 2001 A Space Odyssey. The slow disappearance of cognisance is so beautifully portrayed.

Not sure what that has to do with today’s fold, but oddly what was going through my head when I chose this model by Jose Angel Iranzo.

A torturous mangling of a square, octogonned (is that a word?) and then manipulated so there is a colour change for petals and flower centre – clever. Included in the PDF I found was a stem and box pleated leaf but the flower is the star.

Fairly untidy behind, I like the front view – neatly separated petals, really suited to bi-colour paper.
