690: (140/365) Max Hulme’s Chess Queen

Behind every good man there is often an even better woman:

The Queen in chess is a valuable piece, being the master of all skills, often the most deadly of opponents.

This is Max Hulme’s Queen, a “Medieval” style damsel, pointy hat and gown: regal even, but don’t let looks deceive you, she is a potent killer.

Most of this series has a sense of scale (so the pawn is folded smaller than the royals) and I can guess the size of the royals is supposed to further elevate their importance. the detail on this model necessitated a change to thinner paper, it is slightly different colour. Should I decide to fold a production full set of pieces, I think I would do it with much smaller, thinner paper.
