749: (199/365) Oyster Box

David Mitchell is a legendary origami designer, responsible for countless geometric wrangles:

This is an “Oyster Box” – a box that resembles a bivalve, that locks together rather satisfyingly and opens to reveal a spacious interior.

Folded from an A4 page, this model is a keeper – one I must fold again more carefully now I understand the process of tucking everything away to lock it together.

I can imagine gifting someone pearls in this box. Now, who do I know that likes pearls?
