Trolling around in my collection of Tanteidan magazines, as one does, I came across a little 6-piece modular designed by Jun Maekawa:\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Oddly named until you notice that each of the modules is a little “house” shape, complete with pitched roof.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The units lock together very approximately in my opinion, the geometry means the tabs are slightly the wrong shape for the pockets – I wrestled to get it together initially.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The result is a little “soccer ball” like shape but I might revisit it and see if I can modify the modules so they lock together more positively. I am sure if I looked at this the wrong way it wold disintegrate before me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
