CIR2000 - Flash Projects
The Flash team
have a number of page elements to compose, along with a flashy/trashy intro
sequence. They are lucky, as they get a chance to 'show off' a little
CIR 2000 Flash
Intro Outline.
White background.
- Scene 1: "Loading"
sign. Fadeout to white.
- Scene 2: School
song starts (scenes 2,3 and 4 need to be an appropriate length to fit the
first two verses of this in). 5 or 6 terrace-y photos fade in, superimpose
over the top of each other etc, then fade out.
- Scene 3: Fade
up text, top left: "125 years ago, a tradition began". This is accompanied
by a picture of pugin's chapel, centred in the screen. This transitions (fades/flips/page
turns) into a picture of the current campus. Fade up text, bottom right: "125
years later, the tradition continues". This fades out to white.
- Scene 4: Same
as scene 2. School song cuts out halfway.
- Scene 5: Dr
McManus's preamble. Video on top of other faded photos. Suitable text, ie
"Project Preamble: Dr Brendan McManus". All should fade up, video should play,
then fade out.
- Scene 6: Other
preambles. Heading: "Project Preambles" fades up, and three photos (Archbishop,
Lunn, Principal) fade up, with captions stating their name, position, and
a button to view the preambles. Put Dr McManus's video on the right, with
the button saying "Replay video". Also put a button on the bottom right which
says skip preambles.
- Scene 7: School
song continues. Text fades up progressively (and remains on screen): "To commemorate
the 125th anniversary of St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace…" then "The
2000 Consultant in Residence Project presents…". Fadeout. Scene 8: Project
logo fades up. Underneath (or incorporated into logo), fade up: "125 Years:
A living history of Terrace".Hold for several seconds. Let song finish.
- Fade out. Launch
main page.
Navigation
- Navigation
elements required include an 'expanding' chronological index (pre 1900, 1900-1910;
1911-1920; 1921-1930 etc) to be used with each of the major sections of the
product (people, places, events etc). We would need a separate one for each
section (start with a common 'template' though) - this NAV is part of the
top navigation on a general content screen:
- We also need
a similar expanding alphabetical index for each section (like chrono nav)
that groups the index into A-C; D-F; G-I etc groups - again, design a common
look/feel and then customise it for each section. Actual index pages will
be generated from the database, so you will get these after the last of the
content is in
