The sitemap should be able to be generated via the content database and by using a few operating system tricks to generate a directory tree, but may provide an alternative method of navigation.
This will be presented as a 'tree' diagram that mirrors the directory structure of the site (to some degree) - Pages arranged and displayed in alphabetical order of subject (as not all pages have useful date information on them)
