Could we please get some decent body armor for mages in the game?
I've recently been picking through the armors and they seem to be really lacking in what they can wear. I don't think mages should have access to the best gear, but they can't even wear nylon body harness or vinyl life jackets despite the fact that they can wear fibreglass or steel armor pieces on other parts of their bodies.

nope
have yet to try the leather bustier (swampy is male) or a cardboard chestguard.
If anyone has spare time and stumbles on these please try them out and post them up here.

Here's a full list of stuff of tried and didn't work:
Senior blazer
Fibreglass flak jacket
zoot suit
body harness
Life jacket
Grey smock
Patient smock
Lab coat
suede jacket
aluminium chest guard
tie dyed tunic

List of things that work:
blazer

Things i'm working on: steel chest guard (but i doubt it)
Cardboard chest guard (a little annoying to get)

If anyone has any suggestions or can try out any items on the try out list it would be much appreciated, thanks

this is true, but i suspect intentionally so. They are designed to be at the very shallow end in armor. However in old mud there were some armor items that had exceptions and allowed mages to wear them. I feel that on the whole this has been done well, but it seems silly that we can have mages wearing dragon sleeve armatures but not even basic alumunium body pieces. Just one semi decent body piece would be great. There may be one out there that i have missed, hence i am re examining them for possibilities.

Update mages can't wear steel chest plates either.

Can anyone think of anything i've missed?
