Players are asked to submit a SHORT STORY that takes 10 WORDS to tell.

In this literary challenge, players are asked to test the strength of their PEN, not their sword. This is a variation on an old literary tradition that Ernest Hemmingway once won with his SIX WORD STORY "For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn.".

Your challenge, use ONLY 10 words to tell a tmux-related story - answer must be in sentence form, and may make use of punctuation.

Choose your words with care (your aim, to create a mental image or summarize a narrative succinctly), put your best literary foot forward, give it some thought ... you know you want to.

There is NO LIMIT to the number of stories you can tell, each must be 10 words however.

FERLIN'S TALE.

Spell found, you cast (spell). "Right, I want another one."

DIEING

Level, die, delevel, train, lose money, level, time wasted, die.

MY LIFE

Search, Explore, Find, Examine, Battle, Grind, Spell into Mind, Rewind.

Fingers fly, monsters die, battle cry, deathly sigh, wonder why.

select, hunt, stalk, hide, wait strike, death, loot, pkillers remorse.

Login quest battle trade explore talk groan logoff, homework calls.

Keep your technicolour blood, in my veins flows simply MUD.

LOL just realised none of this is in sentance form.
Was fun to write though.

My second attempt.

Amid my fallen, broken foes I stop and wonder why.

If everything in TMUX has a purpose, what is mine?

I wait, hidden in the shadows, dealing death to traffic.

The leopard's final howl split the night, we were united.

To search for rewards, you must be prepared for challenges.

Things must be in balance, in both MUD and life.

Friendship: a moment to damage, a lifetime to fully mend.

Amidst the wrack and ruin the guardian myth was purged.

I searched and found and in the finding found myself.

Newsflash: Area Released! Everyone excited. But next week... Normal again.

Not entirely true... but Wonko might know what I'm on about

Cat of death

Bruce rounds up the army, and everyone attacks the Ocelot.

Not dead yet

Clerics try turning work-experience zombies, failing because they're not dead.

Overanalyzing things, a friend arrives. The fun and games begin!

Tries to find, but fails to see... Cest la vie.

Tries again, this time resolved. Victory awaits those with goals.

and for an obscure unrelated one:
