653: (103/365) Stretching Cat

As any cat owner knows, cats seem to be able to tie themselves in knots, and this pose is fairly typical of a stretch pose:

Well, I say cat “owners” but in reality, cats own and train us to serve them, it is in the nature of cats really.

This is Makoto Yamaguchi’s cay – a 2 pat model from the recent Tanteidan magazine.

There is much to like about this model, the relative simplicity yet correct proportions, I can see a number of modelling options here to change the posture – indeed illustrated was a stretching and sitting version of the same fold, I must explore more.
